Battery Needle Penetration Testing Machine is a professional safety testing equipment specifically designed to simulate the internal short-circuit risk of batteries caused by sharp object penetration during production, transportation, installation and use. It is widely used in the safety performance testing of various batteries, including lithium-ion batteries (power batteries, consumer electronics batteries, energy storage batteries), lithium polymer batteries, and other rechargeable batteries. By simulating the scenario where batteries are pierced by sharp objects such as metal needles, nails, or debris, the equipment evaluates the battery’s safety response under mechanical puncture abuse, such as whether it catches fire, explodes, leaks electrolyte, or undergoes thermal runaway, providing critical data support for battery R&D, quality control, and compliance certification.
