Zero Drop Tester, equipment for conducting drop tests on large packages 

Product Overview

This test bench is mainly used to assess the impact of drop shocks on products during actual transportation and loading/unloading, and to evaluate the impact resistance of packaging during handling as well as the rationality of packaging design.The zero-drop tester is mainly used for drop tests of relatively large packages. The repeated-drop tester uses a quickly downward-moving "E-shaped" fork as the specimen bracket. The tested goods are placed stably according to the test requirements (face, edge, and corner tests). During the test, the pallet moves downward at high speed and separates from the specimen. Before the tested packaged goods drop onto the bottom plate, the "E-shaped" fork has already been embedded flat into the bottom plate under the action of a high-efficiency shock absorber. The equipment can realize repeated drops through program control.

Product Features:

  •   The repeated drop tester adopts plate-type double guide rail guidance and electric or hydraulic lifting system, which is suitable for conducting repeated drop tests on objects with large overall dimensions.
  •   Loading and unloading test specimens is convenient and fast, enabling low-height drop tests on edges, surfaces and corners, with the drop height adjustable starting from zero.
  •    This device is equipped with safety warning functions including gas cut-off alarm, low air pressure alarm and failure to start under such conditions.


Control principles and structure:

Product structure:
