Working principle:

1.Under the specified contact pressure and given area of the paper, with the sample forming a fixed angle with the sandpaper, the abrasion resistance of the sample is determined by rubbing it against sandpaper of a certain grade.

2. The sandpaper is wrapped around the surface of the roller, and the sample is pressed tightly against the sandpaper-covered roller, causing the sample to move transversely along the roller.

3.Abrasion occurs at one end of the cylindrical sample. The mass loss of the sample is measured, and the volume abrasion loss is calculated based on the density of the sample.
