The leather flexing resistance tester is a special testing device that simulates the repeated bending fatigue state of leather during daily use. It is used to evaluate the flex crack resistance and fatigue resistance of materials such as shoe upper leather, luggage leather, automotive interior leather, furniture leather, artificial leather and synthetic leather, providing a key basis for material selection, quality control and finished product quality evaluation.

Fix the standard specimen (usually 70*45 mm) on a special fixture with the grain side of one end facing inward and the other end outward. Driven by a motor, the crank-linkage mechanism performs reciprocating bending at a bending angle of 22.5°±0.5° and a frequency of 100±5 cycles per minute. The total number of bending cycles can be preset, or the operation continues until cracks, coating peeling, delamination or fracture occur on the specimen. Record the cycle times or observe the damage degree to quantitatively evaluate the flex resistance life of materials.
