Product Overview

The EN Sole Bending Tester is designed to measure the fatigue resistance and flex resistance of sole materials after repeated bending. It simulates the 90° bending stress of shoe soles during walking to evaluate the durability and crack resistance of shoe soles/outsole, complying with European standards including EN 344, EN ISO 20344 and EN ISO 17707.

Widely applied in shoe factories, shoe material manufacturers, quality inspection institutions and scientific research institutes, it supports simultaneous testing at 3 stations with high efficiency.

Working Principle
  • Fix the sole sample on the fixture and cut 3 small cuts at the line of maximum bending stress
  • Perform repeated bending at a bending angle of 90° and a set speed
  • After reaching the preset number of cycles, inspect the degree of cracks, delamination, fracture and elongation with a magnifying glass
  • Evaluate the flexing resistance life based on inspection results
